Veterinary Nursing Assistant - Evenings

NDSR is one of the leading multi-disciplinary referral-only hospitals in the UK with over 60 RVNs and 31 recognised Specialists in surgery, internal medicine, ophthalmology, oncology, neurology, cardiology, dentistry, diagnostic imaging and anaesthesia.

An exciting opportunity has arisen for passionate and enthusiastic animal lover to join our vibrant team as a Veterinary Nursing Assistant working in our busy, purpose-built referral hospital that is fully equipped with the surgical equipment and diagnostic facilities commensurate with a specialist veterinary hospital. The position involves all aspects of animal care of inpatients across a wide range of disciplines.

During your shift, you can expect to assist the Nurses with inpatient care, administering oral medication, monitoring and recording accurately, feeding and walking as well as ensuring the wards and kennels are cleaned and restocked.

No veterinary or animal experience is necessary as full training will be given. You will be highly organised and have a passion and drive for delivering outstanding client and patient care. You will be a team player who enjoys working in a supportive working environment whilst also being able to use your initiative.

This position is full-time (35 hours), working 8 hour evening shifts between the hours of 15.00 and 23.00.
