Anna graduated from the Ludwig-Maximilians University in Munich, Germany in 2001. After graduation, she wrote a doctoral thesis and gained the title of doctor in 2003. She completed an internship programme at the University of Georgia in the USA and subsequently worked in private clinics in Spain and Germany. During this time, she developed an interest in radiology and went on to complete a residency in diagnostic imaging at the Royal Veterinary College, which included extensive training in radiology, MRI, CT and ultrasound scanning. Following her residency, Anna joined North Downs Specialist Referrals as a Specialist in Veterinary Diagnostic Imaging in 2009.
In 2011, Anna attained her European Diploma in Veterinary Diagnostic Imaging. She is also a member of the Small Animal Medicine Society (SamSoc), the International Veterinary Radiology Association (IVRA) and a society member of the American College of Veterinary Radiology. Anna is also a member and treasurer of the European Association of Veterinary Diagnostic Imaging (EAVDI).
Anna has published several articles in peer-reviewed journals over the years. Through her work at the EAVDI and providing continued education (CPD) to general practitioners, she contributes to advancing radiology skills in the veterinary community.
