Carlos Millan
Anaesthesia Resident
Carlos graduated with a veterinary medicine degree, gained in 2018 in Valencia, and is a member of the European College of Veterinary Anaesthesia and Analgesia (ECVAA).
Carlos enjoys the diversity of patients he can see as an is anaesthetist. He has experience of anesthetising animals ranging from a 900kg Clydesdale horse, a 300kg cow down to a 50kg dog or a 3kg cat. He has even supported the anaesthesia of small exotic animals like Eivissa the lizard that was around 15 grams. Eivissa had escaped from its terrarium and was injured by a cat. The chance to have a wide knowledge base across different species and share the different anaesthetic considerations ensures the continued learning that Carlos champions.
Outside of work, Carlos enjoys spending time with his many pets and is learning to play the piano, as well as a clarinet.
