Friederike Rau

Friederike graduated from the University of Munich, Germany in 1998 and spent multiple years in research as PhD student and Postdoc at the University of Munich and working part-time in private practice. Later she continued working in research in a postdoc position at UC Davis, California for more than 3 years.

After completing her residency in veterinary diagnostic imaging at the University of Giessen, Germany she became German specialist in veterinary diagnostic imaging and worked as diagnostic imaging clinician in different referral hospitals in Belgium and the UK for more than a decade. During this time, she obtained the diploma of the European College of Veterinary Diagnostic Imaging in 2022 and became recognised RCVS Specialist in Diagnostic Imaging in 2024.

Friederike worked as freelance diagnostic imaging specialist in different UK referral hospitals and as consultant in teleradiology before joining NDSR. Friederike enjoys the “detective work “diagnostic imaging brings with-it, and the opportunity to be involved with a large variety of cases across all specialities.
