Susanna graduated from the University of Glasgow in 2012, before working in a small animal practice in Lancashire for two years. She then returned to Glasgow in 2014 to complete a rotating internship before starting her Internal Medicine Residency. Susanna achieved her European Diploma in Small Animal Internal Medicine in March 2019. She gained a Masters in canine hypoadrenocorticism a year later.
Susanna enjoys all areas of Internal Medicine, but her particular area of interest is endocrinology and endoscopic procedures.
Susanna is also the Internship Director at NDSR and is passionate about providing vets with a supportive path towards specialism. She is also very involved in contributing to continued education for veterinary practitioners who have an interest in Internal Medicine.
