Veronica graduated from Spain in 2009 and then spent four years working in several small animal hospitals in the UK and Spain, with a strong focus on emergency care. During this time, she developed a passion for neurology and visited many referral centres and hospitals in the UK to expand her knowledge.
In 2014 she completed an internship in Small Animal Medicine and Surgery at Glasgow University where she authored a paper on MRI abnormalities in dogs with portosystemic shunts. She also spent three months at the World Health Organisation, in Geneva, helping in the development of Public Health guidelines.
Veronica finished a 3 years residency in Neurology and Neurosurgery at Bristol University in January 2018 where she specialised in spinal surgery and inflammatory diseases of the brain.
