Victoria graduated from the University of Glasgow in 2006. She subsequently returned to the Small Animal Hospital at the University of Glasgow to perform a rotating internship in 2008. Following this, she enjoyed several years in first opinion practice in the UK and in Hong Kong. She commenced a combined Masters and ECVIM-CA internal medicine residency programme at the University of Glasgow in 2013.
Victoria very much enjoys all aspects of Internal Medicine. Due to a particular interest in feline medicine, she undertook additional examinations during her studies and obtained the title of Membership of the Australian and New Zealand College of Veterinary Scientists (MANZCVS) in Feline Medicine in August 2014. She was awarded her European Diploma in internal medicine in 2017.
