We are pleased to welcome Manuel Benlloch to the NDSR surgeon team. This additional surgeon increases the capacity of the service to see both routine and emergency cases.
Manuel graduated from the University of Cordoba (Spain) in 2001. Afterwards he moved to France to undertake a rotating internship and a second year of surgical clinical scholarship at the veterinary school of Lyon. Following several years of activity in general practice in France and the UK, in 2012 he completed a Residency in Small Animal Surgery at a large private referral center in Paris which included extensive training in Soft Tissue, Neurology and Orthopaedic surgery.
In 2012 Manuel moved to a large first opinion and referral hospital in Stockholm where he worked as a full time referral surgeon and maintained active research work on tarsal anatomy in cats before joining NDSR.
Manuel has authored numerous scientific papers and given presentations in international veterinary meetings. He is currently eligible to sit his ECVS Board Examinations in 2017. He enjoys all aspects of Soft Tissue and Orthopaedic surgery, but has particular interest in complicated fractures, arthroscopy and joint surgery.
